Thanks, Michael. This version works better for me than the previous one, but I could well image than many others might disagree - just due it being such a subjective issue. The increased contrast definitely helps. Regards ~jnconradie

Nico - Well, on second thought, I did make a few changes; changed the crop slightly and added a bit of contrast. I don't know about the drama, tho. Let me know what you think. Thanks, -mikey

Nico - Thanks for the comments. Its not as difficult a rock as it looks from this angle; lots of "pot holes" and grips. I went to the GoG hoping to shoot some climbing going on and found an unknown climber, extremely high. He does have safety ropes and gear on, you just can't see them from this distance. The angle of this view, for me, portrays the hugeness of the scene, as a closer shot wouldn't have done, but again, I appreciate your viewpoint and comments. Thanks again, -mikey

Definitely way too high for my personal tastes! :-)

Who is up there, Michael? The same Jill as in your Exhibition image?

I somehow cannot help thinking that one perhaps needed to do something more/different to the shot to increase the sense of "drama" or impact. Perhaps a tighter crop? Perhaps by having chosen a shooting position closer, more underneath the climber? I am not too sure. Your comments are of course invited and welcomed. ~jnconradie
