Leading 5.12s...thats a dream for me. I have been to shelf road close to Canon city, so this must be around. i like friction rock here. thats why i even like to climb at Black hills, SD more than say MN's quartzite. climbing is sooooooo much fun. thanks for the info. -Abstract
Abstract - Yah, a North facing wall ~5.9 or so. It wouldn't be xtreme if it wasn't free climbing, eh? This girl (used to) lead(s) 5.12Bs. I can't remember the name of the place, but it's Field Rd. North out of Canon City. If you like I can give you the exact coordinates from Google Earth. ":^) -mikey
she is not top-roping, i dont see any belay lines and she is not tread climbing either. rock looks too high specifically for bouldering. route looks 5.8/5.9 (unless where she is standing is a crack) is she free-climbing? where is this in Colorado? thanks. -Abstract
