Many thanks, aam. I took both 300D and 5D to Indonesia because I do not have superwide lens for 5d. Now 10-22 is permanently attached to 300D and 5D is used with 24-70L and 70-300 DO

Have to agree with Traveller, Alexeig has entered many wonderful photos (like this one).
Btw, I guess you didn't take your 5D with you to Bali (though I thought you submitted an entry in CTF with the 5D in the island).

And, thanks for WOW, Lonnit. I am honoured

Many thanks for comments, everybody. Yes these are the motorcycle helmets, hence the title. I have shot several frames, but if helmets become larger then the structure does not fit. I still may post another frame for comparison

Michael: This is shot on the beach in Bali

Traveller: I have not used anything to straighten horizon. No need: 10-22 is a wonderful lens and it has very, very small barrel distortion at 10mm. Much smaller than the barrell distortion of 24-70L at 24mm which is also a wonderful lens

Lee: you have a sharp eye. Yes, I have to clone out the rod and generally be less lazy in perfecting my images

Wonderful structure and picture. Not really sold on the helments. Also would clone out the fishing pole on the right.

Hummmm...I wouldn't say this is the best you've ever done, Alex, you've posted lots of wonderful images. Still, what everyone else has said, this is very good. But also a question for you, If you shot this at 10mm, I am a little surprised that there is no curvature on the horizon at least. What did you do to correct this? Best Wishes, Traveller

This is spectacular, alexeig. Great color and composition, you really capitalized on the 10-22. Nice juxtaposition of modern helmet amidst the graceful and ageless design. Good illusion to the end of a journey. Where is this located? -Michael

Well now you've just gone and outdone yourself! Is this indeed and alltime best for you? I've got but 2 things to say.... "Wow!!!!" and "What's on the table?". The thunderous sound you hear is my applause. :) ~ Lonnit
