Resting on the Barge *

Cobourg, Ontario, Canada

After working all week dredging the entrance to our harbour, the crew left some of the equipment to rest on the barge for the weekend. I was there photographing ducks when I took notice of the stored equipment and thought to take a couple of quick shots.

I'm liking the idea of equipment at rest. There's lots of visual interest and I like your compositional choice to concentrate on these shapes rather than a larger scene. I like the toning, but for my personal taste the image could use a slight curves adjustment for a bit more contrast...again, that's strictly a matter of personal taste. -Michael
