I find this image too disturbing as it is all too similar to the reality of the hideousness that bush has caused. That makes it an excellent image but I don't care to linger. It's almost offensive in that it is not real, but thank G-d it is not. Yet, it's important to see these things to remind us that this is reality elsewhere. What I mean by offensive, in this case, is that it's in a challenge based on a trite thing - blue jeans, yet you took a subject so serious and heinous to display a pair of jeans. It this were an ad for jeans I'd already have been on the phone voicing a complaint and rallying against it. It's not an ad, it's an excellent piece of art. I'd have no problem seeing it in a challenge in which the theme was "Fear", "Emotions", etc. For such a trite topic, I find it becoming offensive. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's not on topic. I'm not saying you should remove it. What I'm saying is that it's an excellent piece of art that should remain here. Being offensive is often part of art. It's often the purpose of a piece. Things like this need to be seen. If more people saw things like this I believe that less of it would actually occur. So, please, Mikel, don't think I'm asking you to remove it, don't think I'm saying it's off topic. I'm saying it's a great piece and offensiveness, in this case, is a good thing. Excellent work! ~ Lonnit

Great Image, Mikel. I particularly like the hood that obscures to a degree even the gender of the vicim. Very Interesting work. And, of course, a great title. Best Wishes, Traveller
