Yes he has. I now know who you (or was it Cindy?) are referring to. This is soooo masterful, I'm having trouble getting over this. I have...well actually complained...that iso was short on words, especially concering his images. I was wrong on that, he writes extreemly well...but more than that, I'd like to posit that iso trusts his audience. Where I actually want my viewers to work at an image and have to explain this...it is just a given with iso. For me his images are often really about what the viewer brings to the image. They are ambiguious...and iso doesn't have to explain...anything, because it is Art with a capital A.

People ask what does this mean? It means what you want it to mean, what you bring to it...for some, maybe Gitmo, for other being held captive and a hostage in a foreign land at grave danger, for still others, the opression of the State, (at tax time?....lol), or even the restraints of love or consciousness itself.

It is entirely possible that, as a true Artist, iso doesn't know himself, or the meaning is constantly shifting on him also. This image so mesermizes me that I had to write a little...but iso, if you wish, entirely at your discretion, please feel free to delent this comment. This is your show and I shouldn't impose myself. Best Wishes, Traveller

I admit that I find this somewhat disturbing and, as yet, have not figured out how to interpret it. While I may not yet hear what it's saying, the image certainly speaks with a strong and eloquent voice...harsh and edgy. It certainly has engaged me in thought. -Michael

Interesting. Reminds me of videos from basque ETA demanding independance of basque country.
I like the belt around the neck! :-) Would that be an SM photo?! Matt.

Jeeze, that's powerful and very topical too. I love the floor, the pose, the lighting...all of it. My hat's really off to you, Sir. I do interesting work, but you do Great work. I'm not complaining, it's just the way it is. I sincerely hope that this wins this Challenge or does very well because the image is so very edgy and well done. Best Wishes, Traveller
