Neolithic Angles *

Stonehenge - built in stages between 2800-1800 BC on the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. The "Slaughter" Stone in the foreground is now considered to be one of a pair at the entrance to the Circle

Thanks! It is quite an amazing structure but taken from this perspective, it doesn't look as imposing as it does in person. There is still disagreement about how they were able to move those gigantic stones to the site and then get the lentils up there - they weigh tons! CJ
