Great image! I like your composition - the way you've placed the lines of the escalators in the corners and the woman going down giving the picture a sense of motion. :-) CJ

Very nice, blade. I love diagonals and the person here. Dominating white helps too

Simple and nice. Person adds the dynamics, a sense of direction(up/down) and gives information about the environment (its a casual place, not a formal place). Remove the person and all this info goes missing... -Cat

I also think the person is useful for perspective.

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the top right of the photograph, but I decided to leave the person to help add some perspective. This was rather impromptu, as I was just passing through multiple escalator levels of a Sears store to get somewhere else. Here is the only other one I PP from that spur of the moment:http://www.pbase.com/blademeister/image/58418861

I like this image very much. I agree with the other posters about the distracting element in the upper right corner. If you were to crop the right side just enough to eliminate it, that would put your intercepting angles about 1/3 into the frame and I think that would look good. Just my opinion. Speaking of opinions, we are all entitled to one. I for one, like the person in the image as it puts it into context for me. I also like the way you cropped the right side to put the lines right into the corners.

Great concept and nice result. However, I agree, the person is a little distracting. I would also Either not keep the upper right corner angle or I would make it more a part of the angle interplay!

Cheers,
:-D

This would be a great image without the person in it, and without the small distracting angle int he upper right corner. The person to me takes away from the image and adds nothing.
