Closer? LOL!! Two more steps and I would have been directly underneath it! LOL! As for cropping, if I lop off any more of the right it will start cutting off part of the globe. I've pushed the crop as far as I could. I couldn't physically mover further to the right B/c I was standing at the top of a flight of stairs. I did go down a few steps for another shot but that resulted in a very different overall framing of the scene. I preferred this one, although I like the other too. Thanks. ~ Lonnit

Love the gold tones here. In terms of perspective...would have moved a bit closer...so that that the bottom fills the frame...or maybe a crop.

Beautiful shot, Lonnit! I love the complimentary colors of the sky and the building. Really good work! ~Sharon

Thanks all. Would you believe this was taken around 3:45 (The EXIF is incorrect), on a mostly overcast drizzling on-and-off day? But yes, that was the actual sky that existed; I was able to saturate it enough to blue it up. I thought I'd have to replace the sky but was thrilled to see I could pull this from the existing. Funny, but it sure does look like it's standing all alone. I wouldn't have figured on pulling this shot out of Manhattan! ~ Lonnit

A Classic New York shot. I have got the symmetrical. No saturated sunset colors though. I like it.

psss, the Rock is full of round things too... :-)

So they've finally finished, it, Hun? Lovely use of color here, Lonnit, and you've never know that it was in the heart of the city. Best Wishes, Traveller
