Sharon,
Very well done. I agree with Michael... excellent use of negative space. Love the lighting and clarity to bring out the texture in the scarf.

Nice use of negative space to add real presence to the subject. Love the sense of motion, tension, and strong horizontal lines. Congrats. -Michael (oh yeah, the goggles are a supreme touch)

Sharon, It is all in the details. The goggles make the shot in my opinion. Well done!

Thanks, everyone! Lonnit is right about the way it was shot, very perceptive! Lee, the "shades" are old bakelite goggles I found in an antique shop and couldn't resist. They have a silver beaded chain for the nose piece and that weird rubber pointy thing for adjusting the tightness on your head. They are the inspiration for this shot. I meant for them to show more but I liked this image better than the ones where you could see them more clearly. Tim, shot in upstate NY, not on the Croisette. lol! Alexeig, see Lonnit's note for how this was done, most of the hair was blurred already and I added a bit. Thanks for all your nice comments! ~Sharon

Perfect, I really really like this image. Done using the method Lonnit outlined, I like that there's some blur in the hair which adds to the sense of movement.

Well done. I'm figuring you're lying down on a table or something and you've rotated the image a quarter turn. I think this theory is supported by an appearance of a slight straining in the neck - equivelent of what would be necessary to hold up an unsupported head - which adds a stress or intensity to the face and head that add to the feeling of forward thrust - as if you are straining against the G-forces of the speed at which you are going. Brilliant image! ~ Lonnit

This is amazing. I wonder how you have got your hair flowing

I'm guessing that since this isn't Isadora, you didn't shoot this on the Croisette? That was, after all, where Isadora Duncan got her scarf caught in the wheels of her car and throttled herself - as you clearly well know! Wherever it was shot, it's marvellous! Tim A.

I think you are on a roll Sharon. IMO, so far you have the strongest set of eligible shots in this challenge!
