There are roughly 57 freaky things about this image, and I'm too tired to list them all. Freaky, just freakin' freaky. Yah freak. --Mr Biscuit

I keep coming back to this, its compelling both as an image in its own right and as one where you want to work out how its done. Brilliantly on topic too.

Fantastic lighting and technique. Definitely surreal and also weirding me out. Awesome. (Gayle, you'll be able to pick him up...he doesn't look very big.) -Michael

WAW! That's a great effect!

The ribs? Nah, it was the hideous face that gave it away :)

Well done Phil. You spotted my seed of reference. It was the ribs that gave it away wasn't it? Offence? huh? No way. I'm glad someone got it. Creepy? Yes it sure is meant to be. Now I've got a flavour for it I can see all sorts of elfs and imps being conjured up over the next year or so :)
Guest 15-Mar-2006 09:54
There's something very "Aphex Twin" about this, iso (no offence!)
Creepy indeed, but shockingly well done.

Haven't visited in a while... but I saw this thumbnail and I KNEW who's it was. Awesome.

This is majorly creepy! I really want to know how you did this. My first thought was that this is a kid's body but then I looked at the arms.... yeeps! Can't wait to find out how you did this... You will tell us, right? ;) Ann C

I thought you were taller than this. Our date is looking pretty tricky if I've gotta pick you up to see over the fence of the cloud factory.

Which technique are you referring to Lee? But no. It isn't anyway ;)
Guest 12-Mar-2006 23:28
Cool. Is this the tilt and shift technique?
Shu12-Mar-2006 23:17
