I keep coming back to this, its compelling both as an image in its own right and as one where you want to work out how its done. Brilliantly on topic too.

Well done Phil. You spotted my seed of reference. It was the ribs that gave it away wasn't it? Offence? huh? No way. I'm glad someone got it. Creepy? Yes it sure is meant to be. Now I've got a flavour for it I can see all sorts of elfs and imps being conjured up over the next year or so :)
