Well, Victor, I wanted to Maximize the starburst effect from a relatively high f stop, and yet the is the kit lens and my first trip with the XT. So I wanted f stops, but not out of the range that the lens could handle...hence some negative compensation and the long shutter speed. I think that the concept worked fairly well.
There is some light dispersal from the hotel window glass that I had to labor mightly to minimize...but I think over all the image works as a pretty cityscape. Best Wishes, Traveller
Traveller, Those are interesting lines around the image. Can you explain their origin? It seems to be more than just the normal diffraction pattern you see from the iris. -- Victor
