Thanks Sharon and aam1234! It's almost time to go back to Table Mountain - I hope the cows are still there. Right now we're haveing pretty cold weather, 25 F at night, that's cold for us! We had our fist snow in 8 years and there is still a little snow on the ground. I hope it warms up next week - it's too cold to take pictures outside for very long right now :-) CJ

This is lovely, CJ. It is about 10°F here at the moment and this makes me long for spring. And I like winter! The teeny tiny cows in the distance really help the perspective here. ~Sharon

Thanks! I love this area. It is a 1000 ft high plateau in the middle of the Sacramento Valley which has incrediably beautiful vernal pools in the spring. The blue flowers in the picture are thousands of blue lupin. And the cows are pretty cute too! I hope to get back there this spring with my XT for more pictures :-)
