The horizon is perfectly straight! It's just getting sucked down on the right by the lovely matching patterns in the sky and sand. Really classy. Tim

Thanks everyone. The sky was a nice "find," as were the circular patterns in the sand. It does seem to tilt ever so slightly, but I think this is an illusion caused by the curves and the surf. Hmmm, maybe I should tilt it up a tad.

I can always recognise your style and I like it very much. You've managed to make that beautiful sky harmonise with the sand & people perfectly. Great shot.

I'm with Sharon, I'm also a big fan of your shoreline work and this is no exception.

Apologies to be *really* nitpicky, but I think this kind of image demands a completely level horizon and it just feels a hair off for me. I tried a 0.1% clockwise rotation and it just feels better to me. Again, that's a really nitpicky thing and feel free just to tell me you don't agree and I should shut up. -Michael

I am a great fan of your beach shots, Bruce! This is just lovely! I like how the clouds and the sand ridges are all pointing at the people and dogs. The perspective really works here! ~Sharon
