Hahah, the base jumping comment just cracks me up. NZ is so cool, so different from the "oh-my-God-what-if-they-sue-us?" attitude here in the US. This is a beautiful shot, by the way. I love the cloud formations and how they compliment the composition so well. Did you have to wait long for those?
The Sky Tower in Auckland, NZ is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere and is over 1000 ft tall. This view is of the underside of the observation decks and restaurant where you can see for miles around in all directions. For the adventurous, you can take a guided 2 hour tour to the top of the mast or you could also do a controlled "base jump by wire" where you are lowered at about 45 miles per hour by wire 650 ft down to a safe landing! We didn't do either of those. LOL - CJ
Great shot, CJ! Good exposure and really good perspective! The only thing I would change would be to crop out the three things top left and clone out the wire top right. Good work! ~Sharon
