The Tragedy of Color In A Black & White World * Traveller

(I've Finally deceided what to do with this....Every Day for the rest of the Challenge, I'll post a different variation of Chaos for a train crossing the high desert). Just playing around....I processed the upper portion seperately from the bottom, hoping for a very releastic view that I could then creatively destroy...this actually is what I saw in my mind's eye, though I am not sure now if it is what I wanted. I may give this another shot later...the Challenge is still fresh with a week to go!

I think I like this one best of the three versions I've seen. That orange engine really pops! ~Sharon

Very cool idea, Rob, of course I don't know how to do it, being still a novice even with basic layers...but maybe you've motivated me to give this a go...to fix this one as the final vote time, end of challenge posting. Thanks for making me think...best Wishes, Traveller

trav, this is the best version i have seen so far. I can see this one took the most effort. *A tip when doing this kind of thing is to make it graduate by using a duplicate layer and lightly removing the effect from the foreground with the distance objects applied full on. I would be tempted the reduce the effect on the towers also to balance it. The train picture is very cool , I love American trains, this looks like a toy (which is good)

Hoakie?!? Hoakie????? Well, yes, actually I do know what you mean...but at my other place it was fairly well praised...for unknown reasons. But hey, let's not quibble among ourselves...I've got a brand new one right around the corner...lol...Number 3, Best Wishes, Traveller

I like this better than the other one. That one just seemed a bit hokie, if you know what I mean. -- Victor
