Dont Leave Your Records in the Sun *

From the album "Mark Twang" by John Hartford, 1976

Don’t leave your records in the sun.
They’ll warp and they won’t be good for anyone.

Don’t leave your records in the sun.
They'll get all wavy and they just won't run.

They just won’t play - just won’t play - just won’t play - ..... Just won't play no more.

Have no fear. No LPs were harmed in the making of this photo. At least not recently.
This album (Ironically, it *is* a John Hartford LP, "Aereo Plain") was accidentally damaged circa 1975 by being left in a car on a hot summer day. Since the damage was so amusing, the record has been kept in the archives lo these many years because nobody had the heart to throw it away. Besides, it makes a lovely art piece - especially for the basement listening room of what was once something of an "animal house" where several college aged guys drank beer and listened to the music of the day. Thus, this relic has special sentimental value to a select few who knew this basement well :)

oh my goodness, have you really destroyed this record just for this challenge? I don't know whether to cry or be impressed. They sure do crimple up in heat, don't they?
