This scene in my home office surprised me. The light source was light reflected from a friends car window outside the blinds in the driveway. Hence the very high shadow.

Grant, I think that is a very good suggestion and have tried it. The poster does distract way too much otherwise, but is needed in the image IMO.

Andy, this is really nice but I would have cropped it just below their eyes on the poster. That would make the shadow the focus of the photo. Just my 2 cents...

Nice blue. I get all sorts of wonderful shadows on my bedroom ceiling that I love looking at every night. I always think about shooting them, but I don't see them until I shut off the lights and climb into bed! LOL! This works well for me with the bottom cut off too. :) ~ Lonnit
