great image. as olaf.dk said, it may have a slight too much contrast. but to me it is only a bother in the right hand corner. the prominent pea pod looks pretty perfect. i really like this.

I kind of like the saturation, but I think the contrast is a bit too much. The highlights in the peas should not go all the way white, in my opinion. Very nice composition!

Always strong work from you, Vikas, and this is no exception. The composition here is really wonderful but I too find it just a tad oversaturated. -Michael

LOL! It works bc it does look intentionall oversaturated. If it were a tad less, it would look like it was mistakenly oversaturated. As with all the rules, if you intend on breaking them, absolutely shatter them, so there is no doubt of your intention. ~ Lonnit

Thanks all and yes Lonnit, wasnt going to take any chances with this one LOL. Yup it is a tad oversaturated (did a +25 on saturation) but dont know, kind of like it like this. Did experiment with reduced saturation but still prefer it this way..... :-)

Thanks again everyone.

Cheers, Vikas.

I think Vikas wasn't taking any chances on this one qualifying, hence the supersaturation! LOL! ;) Great shot, as usual. :) ~ Lonnit

Strong and engaging, but I do agree it is a smidge too saturated. A technique to suggest: Use a mask on a Hue/Sat layer and brush in just 1-2 areas of over-saturation (say, the three peas that immediately grab one's eyes). Still saturate the rest of it, but dial it back a notch or two. But, again, strong and engaging. And definitely on topic [*sMiLe*]. --Mr. Biscuit

wow! this sure does scream Green! Peas can't look any better than this. Great compo on this one but just a tad too saturated for my tastes but I bet I'll get used to it.
