Lee, thanks! You have one of these in your yard?!? Cool! I like these a lot. The textures are just great on these... BTW someone just mentioned to me that the birches that we see in and around Atlanta are mostly river birches. -Cat

Thanks Lonnit and Victor. Actually it was kinda new information for me too Victor. Most of the birches I have see around Atlanta are a little lighter to little darker than this. I have not seen a completely white one, except in photos. They are wonderful. -Cat
Paper Birch can be almost pure white. Older bark with the rougher texture can be nearly black. So the bark runs the gamut, sometimes with high contrast on a single tree. -- Victor
Is that it's real color? I've never seen one in person, but hubby brought home some 'shed' from one from a customer's lawn. Those pieces were darker. As far as the topic goes, yup, it's on! ~ Lonnit
