I like this a lot, fabulous shot Sergio. It's all about the light and it works so well here. I don't think those are sharpening halos in the eye holes. I think the light is coming from the left, behind, and a bit above the mask. I think the eye holes are lit by strong backlight and we're seeing it on the thickness of the mask...to be honest, I rather like the strong presence it gives to the eyes. -Michael

I liked this from the moment you posted it, but the sharpening halos and (what look to be) JPEG artifacts in the eye sockets distract me. Love the composition, the directional light, and the resulting shadow. --Mr. Biscuit

Very nicely done. Watch those sharpeing halos around the eyeholes. ;) Now this, as dang close to BW as it can be, but not be, caused my first reaction to be, "That's not BW, its tealish.", which means, my friend, you are ON TOPIC!!! Wooohooo! You made me think 'color'. :) ~ Lonnit
