Me Have Mussels! * Traveller

Well, no, I really don't have muscles, or at least not like these mussels have muscles. Nor, I must confess did I eat these particular Mussels, but, I did eat Mussels very much like these marine bivalve mollusks...but in a light Italian tomato sauce.

Dear Grant: I understand your point, and I did try various tighter crops, but in the end I liked having the blue, blue ocean as a back drop and as an anchor to what the image was. It IS a confusing mass...as even homo sapien life often is...lol. The light was not particularly good, but the 70~200f4L is always a great lens to work with. There is lots of color enhancement to bring out the details. And again, there is a mass of detail....because that's what it is, a beehive of a colony of living things. Best Wishes, Traveller

Traveller, Looks like you had great light and a difficult subject. I see things like this all the time and I have no idea how to photograph them. I guess what I am trying to say is that this seems to lack a focal point. Technically it is nice and sharp and properly exposed.
