38mm? Are you insane? I would have shot this at as long a focal lenth as possible to put distance between me and that PROPANE TANK next to the BURNING HOUSE. Maybe you were too entranced by the fire to notice. The fact that you're still alive to post these photos indicates it didn't cook off - at least not while you were in the vicinity. If you've ever seen even a small propane tank explosion, like the ones for gas grills, you'll know what I mean. Fire can make for a powerful, captivating image, and I've photographed some small ones, but one must be extraordinarily careful, for concentrating on taking the photo could draw you attention from something that can easily get you killed. Some nice images, but PLEASE be careful.
