Pholcus phalangioides is a rather famous spider for its dancing beneath the ceiling in your living room. I was lucky enough to be able to follow a "family" through the important parts of development.

Thanks, glad you like it. :)) And yes, the detail of the youngsters is lost in this resolution. However, as the adults are more contrasty due to their coloured bodies, I put the emphasis on them. If you or anyone else is interested in larger pics of the youngsters, they are on my page:

Really nice series well presented. Awesome capture on the right, espeically. I assume we're losing the detail of the smaller images because of the low resolution. That's a shame. bee1000
