Nice idea. *Somehow this gives me an impression of yellow cast and/or lacking contrast. I am afraid that the fact that you do not drink wine creeped into the image.

Nice variant on the ole triptych layout.

Gayle, this is very well done! I'm glad others recommended adding the border. I couldn't put my finger on why it wasn't working for me originally. Now that the photos have a separation, it makes all the difference in the world. -- Jeannie (jburly)

Ahhh, that's it! Great! And please ship some of the cat thing to Germany as well :o)

David and Dorys, if it wasn't so expensive to ship overseas, I'd quite happily send you some of the local wines. The wineries around here are very much of the "boutique" variety and I believe their products are very, very good. I just can't get past the revolting smell though....of any wine!

Armin and Dorys, good point about the DOF. I did this when I was really tired...note to self: stay out of Photoshop when yawning one's head off! I'll re-do it tonight.
David, the winery tour was totally wasted on me, but the photo ops were good. I couldn't give a flying leap about wine, it all smells like cats pee to me.

This is really a nice topic...and being Australia and all, I must mention my current favorite wine comes from Australia.... Clarendon Hills Syrah...that is some good stuff...can't afford it though (*sigh*). What a great topic for a series of shots. I might have to agree with Armin about being thrown off a little by the DOF, but otherwise a fun and interesting series of shots!!!

Cheers,
:-D

Agree with Armin on this one. Because there is no separation between the photos, the varying DOF is confusing. Maybe separating out the individual photos with a blank space (ie frame) around each would isolate the individual shots better, thus allowing the eyes and brain to relax a bit. :-)

Lovely topic, yet, I'm struggling a bit with the combination of DOFs here. Armin
