Victor, yes, I too would like to see this image from above. It would be interesting to compare and I suspect the image without perspective would be much more static and the effect of the crack more dramatic. Unfortunately, there's no way to gain any height here since it's part of the Andy Goldsworthy commission in the entrance courtyard of the new deYoung Museum. I suspect the security guards would frown if I brought a ladder along :-) -Michael

I like this, but I think I'd rather see it with no perspective convergence of lines. In other words, shot from straight above. -- Victor
