Thanks Markjay. I had my eye on this colourful set for some time. It faces roughly south, as you can tell from the shadows and the time of day in the EXIF data, so only gets light like this close to and during our South Australian summer. I liked the colours, shapes and shadows later in the day, so that's what I planned to capture for the reasons you've stated. The wide angle lens also helps to create what I was after with the variation in perspective from one wiggle to the next. Cheers, John

Excellent time of day you chose to or happened to shoot this! Really brought out the shadows which accentuate the forms / shapes. Nice work. Markjay

Thanks. Not such a strong image for the theme, but I liked the curves anyway and thought I'd capture them to see how they'd look in this gallery, so here they are. Maybe the perfect theme will come up in the next Challenge instead, just too late. ;^) John
