cool idea. I wish the edges were not popping up. Did you try shooting under a sheet of glass?

Hi Cat, my comment was ment as a compliment because this 'piece' could well be a painting from a original minimalistic artist hanging 3 by 3 metres in a museum. Rob.

Hi Rob. I am not sure what "this" means, but yes, the concept of "Phi" (also known as the golden ratio) is much older than that. It has been applied over and over again in various forms and shapes in art... so I wouldn't be surprised if you have come across some combination of shapes based on Phi previously. -Cat
