Drinking In The Spring Sun * Traveller

I suppose in fairness to the truth this was not taken in the Spring and it should be noted that this was taken on the same day, same location as the Old Stave Church, and rather answered my own question...lol. The image, however, always represented the exuberance of Spring to me, hence the title.

Traveller, good grief, somehow I missed this while looking through the thumbnails. It's entirely charming, filled with color, and a very satisfying composition. Excellent fine weather contribution. -Michael

Thanks guys, and Shu...lol (being female 'n all) The real problem with this image that is a re-processing of an images already haning in several offices is that...damn, but this thing because of the detail had to be really, really compressed to get it to fit here...it was saved as a 6 in photshop and then recompressed again in thumbsplus at 71%...There is a little break down in the image, but it's okay at this screen resolution...but it does print well at 12x18...thanks again for looking and commenting, Traveller

Yes, this is a really amazing floral shot - backlit but still lots of detail and color for the eye to explore. It has a certain two-dimensionality to it and makes me think of a florally patterned piece of fabric. Summery indeed. Well done!

Nice! The epitome of a sunny day. Sooo colorful and radiates happiness. (Isn't it great when wild flowers just seem to fall into the right places for a lovely shot like this?!) shu
