Thanks for the comments Traveller & Bruce. No problems with you trying a different approach on the image Bruce but I think for the moment I prefer my original. You've made me think its worth experimenting a little more with this image though - at the moment its pretty much as it came out of the camera.

It depends...the high key works better, IMHO, than Bruce's...this gives just a slight sense of a time gone by...and I think that that is what you were looking for. Best Wishes, Traveller

I like the high key effect, but I think the darker elements need more contrast. Played around with your image a bit (hope you don't mind, but it really intrigued me) and this is what I came out with:http://www.pbase.com/wiseblood/image/50525860
