Lady Washington 112' two -masted brig based in Aberdee, Wa.. It was the stand in for the interceptor in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pear.. It has 2 three pound deck cannons and 2 swivel guns on onboard.

shu...it was a magical time at sea as both ships tried to move into position to fire off their canons..we were out fighting for about two hours in perfect evening light and just enough wind.

markjay...thanks.....yes many interesting other effects this could be portrayed at....we were in the middle of a gun battle, fake of course (hence the smoke from our guns). I was on the Lynx, a 122' square topsail schooner based in Newport Beach, Calif.

It's a great image and I like the smoke (?) in the foreground.
This would also make a great monotone image, either B & W or ?
