I kind of wish that everyone could see this at 100%. Right on the front of the bow, in a white shirt, is a man looking off to the right through a set of binoculars. These digital cameras really do catch an amazing amount of detail! Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I did want a sense of menace & I think that I found it in this version. This really captures the fear you feel when sailing across the bow of one of these monsters. Even if you've been tracking it for ages and you know you're clear it's still worrying. Nice shot.
Very strong image. You have captured the massive nature of this behemouth very well indeed. I like the saturation too. And . . . I think this is the largest "no smoking" sign I have ever seen! -- Bruce
