Thanks, thubleau, that's pretty much what I figured, but in truth, because it was YOUR vision, you articulated it far better than I could. Ain't that the truth about people though...and sometimes it is wonderful...and somtimes terrible. Best Wishes,
Traveller
The starburst was there.
I noticed in a few of my pics this lens seems to exagerate the glint of light,I guess that's just the petals on the aperture doing their work.

The Photo(according to the rules) has to obviously speak for itself.
Iwould have called it "Looking through Rose Coloured glasses"
My spin would be that we only see what we want to see and we only believe what we want to believe.
I could have been looking at my wife and imagining that this is how I see her or possibly this could be my wife, it could also be my daughter if I had one(or stepdaughter) or it could be a complete stranger who I might have "Rosie" thoughts about.
The contrast of course is me, and regardless of looks or age the thoughts coming from inside the body have little to do with our outside appearance, and it is what I want to believe I am seeing that matters to me regardles of the truth.

I like this a lot...but I'd almost really also want to know the story, or even your interpretation of the image. Just asking. Still, this is wonderfully provocative work. I also note the little starbust to the right...was this added?
Best Wishes, Traveller
I tried cutting it off at the nose but found it lacked personality and I guess there were other things I wanted the viewer to take in rather than making it a technically more appealing image , but thanks anyway, another challenge maybe.

I really like the color combination and the image IMO is MUCH more impactiful when I scroll my screen so that the image is cropped from just below the mouth.
Try this and see what you think, my friend? Unusual image but, I'm liking it!
