I agree with Chris that a slight crop would help, but otherwise I like this.
I especially like the small amount of blue just visible on the figure.

Neat effect with the black on the background. I am not sure about the way that you cropped this though. To me if you scroll the image up in the browser so it is cutoff just about 1/4 or an inch, or a centimeter or so, the image works better, keeps you in the image more without drifting up into the sky.
