Very clever, but yikes!...could the model breathe? --Melanie (mlynn)

Kelly, I find this image somewhat disturbing and the title doesn't ease that feeling. I don't mean that as a *bad* thing, but rather that it's really evoking a strong response in me. I really like the quality acheived in the b&w conversion. -Michael

Were rules made to be broken?
iso320004-Sep-2005 23:11
Rules, rules, rules. I think a complete idiot must have set them. What was he thinking?
Guest 04-Sep-2005 13:17
I did re-read the rules, and you are probably right, but I still like it and would want to see your full head shot in it's full glory. Chris

Yea, maybe, but at the same time it really isn't a mouth in the way that you normally see it. If masks are allowed that represent the face, then what you have done has changed the face. Either way, I really like the image that you have in the comments. Chris

Thanks Chris. Actually I felt that I was pushing the rules of the challenge kind of a bit with the scrunched schnozzola beneath the cover of the plastic bag - no noses are allowed to be seen. But the full head shot clearly shows the mouth, another no-no. - Kelly

To be honest, the image that you have posted below this, I think, is a much stronger and effective image. This one, I think because of the crop doesn't quite have it for me, but I really like the one that you have in the comments.

Now *that* is a disturbing image.

Even a hole in the bag would helped - it was suffocating!

Remember to poke holes in the box before shipping.

I really like this idea. I just wish it were a tad sharper or had some grain. Well done though.
