alexeig, very nice b&w conversion. I particulary the like the opposing diagonals created with the rod and rail of the boat, nice perspective. -Michael

Olaf, many thanks for taking your time, your color interpretation is truly amazing. Although, it stretches reality quite considerably, my processed color is about how it looked. I always try to process my frames to what my initial impression was. I would love to see exactly what you have done though.

Wow, I see a lot of potential in that original photo. There is some fantastic lighting/color just screaming to be brought out! Please check your email. --Olaf.dk

Olaf and Kelly, many thanks for comments.

Kelly: I do not have much experience with B/W. I created color version first and then I thought that B/W will be better. I desaturated color and added more contrast to the water and sky and more sharpening too

Olaf: here is the color version:

and here is resized frame straight from camera, namely this is JPEG processed from RAW by ZoomBrowser with factory in camera settings

Alexieg, this is an excellent shot! The lines, the textures and the foreground detail all sum up very nicely. I wonder what it looked like in color. --Olaf.dk

Alexeig - I love that glass. Nice tonal range and the textural contrast between the sky and water is interesting. Was there any special post-processing?

Maybe that guy will cheer up if you email him a copy this image :)
