this does have a surreal look to it. It works quite well. I missing the doll house windows, but it could be that my work monitor is aweful. Will view it again from home.

It's cute enough that I'll forgive the misplacement of the arm shadows. ;) And yes, as soon as I saw the windows I immediately thought that's where she must live. Nice job! ~ Lonnit

Hi Mark and Kelly,
This image was taken in my living room in front of a 6' sliding glass door with southern exposure so the natural light is genuine. During the same shoot I took a picture of my daughter, also in front of the window, leaning on the lid of a large basket so her body would be in the right position. I wanted to duplicate the same lighting conditions for her body. The windows in the background are from a large dollhouse that my husband built. I didn't plan that but later I thought it looked cool as it could be the miniature figure's home. I purposely illuminated the top surface of the gamepiece so it would draw attention to "Your Move" as well as to create a subtle supernatural quality as if light was coming out of the gamepiece. Thanks for your comments!

Roberta, I remember this one from an earlier challenge. I liked it then and still like it now. Very creative. E-

Personally, I don't see any problem with dice placement whatsoever. The backgammon piece that his touched by the incredibly shrinking woman (he he) does in fact have a shadown on the right rear side of it. You can easily see this if you look at the backgammon spike on the board there and see that there is extra shadow created by the game piece. And, let's not forget this is meant to be a fun / fantasy image. Surprised Kelly didn't notice the building and windows on the right side of the board! :-) If there was anything I ever noticed about the image (but never bothered to mention till now) it would be those windows. Consider the table right near a window. Again, excellent and fun image. I wish I had 1/10 of your creative PS skills. Markjay

Wow - lots of double sixes!

Roberta, I've not seen this before. This is a cool idea and I like this image, but there are some minor things that are visually dissident aside from the placement of the dice. The white stone being pushed by our small friend seems overly bright, yet hasn't a correspondingly contrasting shadow while the shadow under her arms appears disproportionately close to and uncomfortably parallel to the board's surface. - Kelly

Thanks Mark! It's the only shot I have for Exhibition.

Looks like you've only got a small (he he) chance of winning :-) I remember this shot and it's still one of my fav gaming shots. Markjay
