Hi Kelly, no this is not the same place, but I also thought the light patterns and stones looked similar to that shot. These are my daughter Sarah's feet - she is home visiting from college. We climbed up on Mt. Shasta that day to just above 10,000 feet - mostly without a trail and in loose scree, rock hopping, and traversing snow fields and glaciers. It was very hard on our feet. I even blew out my old trusty hiking boots on the sharp rocks. This was a spring coming right out of the ground where we stood - and it was blindingly cold and we could only stand it for a few seconds at a time. But what a relief! haha. Cindy

Cindy, I can't help but wonder if this is the same stream shot in "The Journey Begins"? http://www.pbase.com/cslr_challenge/image/43625521 ..maybe it's the colors of the stones that triggered the memory ... or maybe even the lighting? So who's feet are they? Kelly

This is how I'll know you when we meet some day. I'll have to ask you to show me your feet before I'll know it is you, lol. I'll be sure to check for that 6th toe. This and the hammock shot are the only "self-portraits" of yours that I know of...
