Hi Sharon. Looked at the three of them again and I'm having a hard time deciding which is better, all of them are really good. I'm leaning toward the one you originally entered, and I think you can't go wrong with any of the three --- aam1234
Aam, you have wonderful photos, don't put yourself down. Although I do understand, I am new here myself. So, I agree with you that the second crop is not good. I have tried a third crop, taking out all extraneous stuff, see what you think:http://www.pbase.com/elips/image/47274094 Thanks for helping me look at this. ~Sharon
Hi Sharon, it's me again (aam1234). Please don't be impressed with my talking. I'm so new here that I feel nervious a little. If you want to know how bad my photos are, have a look at my entries :)
Honestly, umm, maybe I'm expecting a very colorful sail. Out of the two, I prefer...something in the middle. Maybe more sail, but not as much as the other photo.
Again, dismiss my opinion like a used tea bag (no not that much!).
Yes, Sharon is right! I can't really believe you are an amateur, you have such insightful and professional sounding comments! My thinking on this was that the lines on the right made it clearer that the image was of a sail but maybe that only works for me since I was there. Here is a tighter crop:http://www.pbase.com/elips/image/47262969 Let me know what you think! ~Sharon
elips = Sharon, right? If I'm wrong then forgive me please.
I like this photo. However, wish the sail took more mass/area of the photo. This is just my amateur opinion, so don't take it very seriously --- aam1234
