Devotional II *

The Challenges are frequently a personal challenge to myself. I know that a number of people don't like de-sats...but this is my first, and I used the dodge tool as well as Radcor to hopefully straighten out the proportions a bit. For a person that doesn't even really believe in cropping, I am very much pleased that I have been able to make as much progress as I have in making substantial alterations to an image.

Further, in my defense, this is posted elsewhere, and is receiving considerable praise. However, and interestingly, the original isn't there for people to compare. Hummm........Traveller

Earl, Thanks for your Comment....my just brother called to castigate me for not staying with the original image....lol. Well, we've gotta keep trying and growing. Best Wishes, Traveller

Traveller, I really REALLY like the original version of Devotional. (*) Although I do like the partially de-saturated image sometimes, this one is not working for me. If I had not seen the original then I'm sure I'd like this one a lot more. (sorry) One thing I am wondering about is the red in the (?)light in the upper right of the arch. Why is it red? What about the one on the left side?

You have done a very good job on the flowers by the way. :) E-
