I like this...it invokes a harsher "dangerous" feel than most boardwalk foto's do, which tend to promote the softer more "beach inviting" side. It almost makes me think there might be a croc or two in the water below! Not sure what does this, but there seems to be a tiny (and I mean tiny) lack of focus/center of sight on this -- not sure if it the DOF playing with my eyes or what....but I guess I don't see crisp focus where I might expect to see it...It may have to do with the reflection of the sun in the wooden floor or something. Or, worse yet, it might be my monitor dying :-)!
All round tho' it is a very nice and also interesting photograph!
