I took this last week for the challenge. Did not post it then, but now I am having second thoughts and did. Any and all comments welcome.

Thanks Earl and Mike. Sorry I missed your comments until now. Earl, Yes it was only lit by the window to her right. It was shot in RAW and just took several versions. Another one came our well and I made it kind of a hi key effect. It is posted at the current CTF challenge in exhibition. I mention shooting in RAW becuase I had to process and PS it to make it look presentable. Lee

theFly, This is all natural light, right? I've tried to do something similar but with far less successful results. Any recommendations or tips on this? You would think it would be easy but, at least for me, it has not been so. Thanks E-

Lee, glad you had second thoughts and posted this portrait. The expression is charming and I think it's wonderfully composed and executed. I agree with Earl that it's tough to work successfully with such a wide dynamic range and you've done a superb job. -Michael

Glad you posted it, it is a nice image, very cute. I do find the three highlights in the shadow of the eye on the left, and then the one highlight in the hair directly left of the mouth to be a little distracting. It could be my monitor though. Chris
