Landscape is a tough style. Beyond all the skill I can bring to it, nature must grant its blessings on a scene before it all comes together. I was headed home from Yosemite Valley when the late afternoon light shone upon these California hills just outside of Mariposa, CA. The light and scenery was so lovely to me that I just had to stop and capture a bit of the gold in the California hills.
