A Reflection of Lights *

I wanted to post this for the Longshots Challenge, but couldn't because it was only 3 seconds in duration. So I get another chance at it. Up top is Salzburg Castle, Austria, and in Castle is a small hut set away from all habitation, surrounded by walls, isolated is this house that is the home of the resident Torturer. And in the Castle Library are books, actual books in monkish handwriting, the script of repetitive copying, leather bound over thinly sanded wood for covers and a laced spine to hold the thick text together, containing the art, the collected wisdom, collected for use, the Medieval knowledge on when and how, by what means to conduct the terrible practice. So neatly written...for a man that must forever more live separate and apart, always lonely from the community he...serves?

Warm, glowing, sparkling are all words that come to mind for this well rendered nightscape. Good choice for a title. -Michael

Thank you so much Alex. You enter so much good work, it is nice to have a cpmpliment from you. Be that as it may, Salzburg is...such a fabulous city, so livable, so urbane, so full of good people....it's a shame that the rise of the Euro has almost priced many Americans out of the market from visiting there. It would not be fair to Salzburg to take less than a glorious picture of her charm. Thanks again, Traveller

Real beauty and I especially like it because I have seen this scene live. Your entries show quite considerable geography, which you can expect from a good Traveller
