Kevlar Technology *
by Michael Soo

This is just a quickie shot (headed out the door to Eastern Sierra) I took
of my precious B&W Speakers (for the audiophiles out there, you know what
I mean). Blast out white noise through my amplifier into the speaker to
create mega vibrations on the cones, then take a long exposure of the
kevlar cone with flashes in between. Then use Photoshop filters to
"amplify" the vibration shown. Ok, gotto go, have fun with this
challenge, guys!

The woofer is made out of kevlar, the same material used to make bulletproof vests.

Really interesting and creative shot. I don't know what the woofer is made of, but it looks absolutely luminous.

It's the mid-woofer for 803.

Is that an 802 mid-woofer?
