8th Place: merced river

yosemite national park

taken at 1pm on a sunny afternoon in yosemite park. i used a 10-stop neutral density filter, and a small aperture, f/16, to get a long exposure time (4 seconds).

Canon EOS 1Ds ,Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM
aperture: f/16; shutter speed: 4 seconds; iso: 100; focal length: 35mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Hoya has their NDx400 with provides 9 stops (meant for solar photopgraphy). B + W has a range of very dark ND's also.
