Self Portrait *

Australia

Just for fun and just to prove to myself that I could do it one handed. I'm proud to say I had no help whatsoever setting up and taking this shot.

The subject is about my age.....I've owned her for as long as i can remember. She's wearing my glasses, and setting up her own shot using one of my cameras. And she's gonna do it one handed too. She's just gotta remember to turn the camera on first.

aww I like this. This is one of those photos that when you look at later in life that make you think... I did alright, went over the bumps in life and makes you appreciate what you have even more.

Reminds me of Hamble from playschool. And the nightmares had just stopped!! I like this shot. Not bad for one handed.

Kelly, I broke my arm (not too badly) and my hand (very badly) in an accident. I was bound and determined to get at least one shot into this challenge and I was just as determined to do it alone. The one problem I had was not being able to screw the little camera tightly onto the tripod and it kept swinging the wrong way. Rather than ask for help, I left it the way it was. It took me absolutely ages to set up this shot....around 2 hours. But I did it!
Thanks for your comment,
Gayle

Gayle - What happened to her/ your arm? Pointing the camera in the same direction as her gaze might have increased the bizarre quotient a little. If she can do it single handedly, please have her post the photo she took too ;) Hope you (and your short friend) mend quickly - Kelly
