Better!!!

Yup! I've used a red laser light, but never saved any of those -- they were just goofing around photos. I've also done some outdoor light painting by using my flash to illuminate objects at night (as seen * here *.
.

I enjoyed that immensely and plan to do more of the outdoor PWL style this summer! (While also focusing on more indoor ones. I've kind of gotten away from it. I'm sending big warm thanks to Grant for this challenge as it's helped rekindle my inspiration with this technique.)

Thanks Angela. The crop per your suggestion does look better.
Have you tried this technique with other light sources?
The possibilities seem endless...simple gadgets, yet powerful results.

Nice 1st attempt! That basket has a LOT of character! I like the richness of the colors here.

(*) If this were mine, I'd crop off most of the darker left side of the frame... my eyes tend to move through the light and leave the photo in that darkness.

Just food for thought (pun intended) ;)
