Ahhhhh. I was a bit confused myself how this shot reminded Olaf of the Christine Keller look. I hadn't seen the other chair shot and on looking at the challenge date I realised why - that challenge started the week that my father passed away.
I now realise I've missed quite a few challenges this year - better do something about that!

And a question for you iso or any other Brit for that matter: do your skies really have that color? It looks too cyan and too little blue to me - compared to reality as I know it. BTW, at what time of day is this shot? Anyway, I don't think the sky ever looks like that here, but it could be different where you are. Knowing that you want your photos to be "larger than life", and that you've had to tweak the color in this shot, I take it that you wanted the colors just so for artistic reasons - and I am not going to argue with the fact that they go well together and call for attention, so I am in no way saying it's "wrong" - just wondering...

No Teapot, not that one - and - yes iso, that one! I don't understand how I missed it - I am sure I checked that challenge and like I said, it wasn't that long ago you shot it.

The similarities, for those who cannot see them: Utterly simple, central composition with a "horizon" slightly above one third up; perspective lines pointing to the horizon (tracks in field vs. cracks in floor); featureless area above horizon (sky vs. wall); color (grass is similar to seat, tracks similar to floor); tone (not color) and saturation of sky similar to that of the seat (bordering florescent). The subjects are very different but the similarities are there!

Grant. Don't know about the autograph bit but I can send you a hi-res file to print your own if you really want it *that* much. Not sure how big this will go though. It could do with being sharper on the original. In fact if I get the chance I'll be reshooting this one with a prime lens as this is very soft at the sides, though of course you can't tell here.

Teapot. I think Olaf might have been referring tohttp://www.pbase.com/cslr_challenge/image/39902078 drawing a parallel with the simplicity of the two images perhaps? I can't quite see a connection between an open field and a naked man. Perhaps you can though :) but I won't ask about it

Funny how your style is so recognisable. I knew this was yours too.
Wish the sky was just a little deeper blue.

Olaf. Is this what you were looking forhttp://www.pbase.com/cslr_challenge/image/36713820

Iso- I love this. What are the chances I could buy an autographed print of this for my new place in Iowa? This is fantastic.

Reminds me of that office chair of yours. I wanted to link to it, for those who do not know of which I am speaking, but I can't seem to find it. It wasn't THAT long ago you entered it, was it?

I knew this was an isopic, from looking at the thumbnail! Almost too simple, but it does have some tension.
