In Memory *

Clyde River, Nunavut

On March 3, 2005, four Royal Canadian Mounted Police were killed in the line of duty. It touched Canada as a nation.

I took this photo as a tribute to those four and as a way for me to express my feelings. It is my husband's Red Serge which is the dress uniform of the R.C.M.P. It is very difficult to put into words how one feels when something like this happens. In all honesty, it is simply to difficult for me to put in words as it hits so close to home. I can't dwell on it as I would drive myself into an emotional frenzy; something my husband does not need as he continues to put on his uniform for work.

I could explain why I did what I did with this photo and what it means to me, but I prefer to let you decide for yourself what it means for you.

My heart aches.
